31st Annual Homeless Persons Memorial Day: The Longest Night Vigil

    Worcester community members with lived experience with homelessness, in partnership with The City of Worcester's Department of Health & Human Services and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Worcester will commemorate the 31st annual Homeless Persons' Memorial Day in honor of those in our community who we have lost to homelessness. Members of the public are welcome to attend and join us in solidarity with our community members in letting them know that we believe homelessness should never happen in our city. A free COVID-19 vaccination clinic (Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson available) will be on-site and open to all attendees. Masks are encouraged and will be provided.

    The Worcester Common Oval located behind City Hall serves as a public gathering place throughout the year. The Oval hosts the popular "Out to Lunch" summer concert series and farmer's market. The Oval also offers public skating in the Winter months with skate rentals, concessions and special events.
