Approval of the Minutes

Order - That the City Council Standing Committee of Veterans' Memorials, Parks and Recreation hereby approves the minutes of the Veterans' Memorials, Parks and Recreation Committee meeting of August 27, 2020.

Transmitting informational communication relative to the Master Plan for improvements for the Crompton Park Skatepark. # 9.8A CM January 19, 2021

Chairperson Councilor Rose read the item and moved to take items #3a through #3e collectively.

Chairperson Councilor Rose recognized the Assistant Commissioner of Public Works and Parks, who discussed the master planning for Crompton Park and its Skate park, including information as to the different phases of the plan, the partnership of the design phases of the project and the timing of when the project will begin.

Chairperson Councilor Rose recognized Councilor Bergman, who discussed the popularity of skateboarding in the city with the Assistant Commissioner of Public Works and Parks.

Chairperson Councilor Rose recognized Councilor Rosen, who discussed building a relationship between the skateboarding community and the city.

Chairperson Councilor Rose recognized the Deputy City Clerk, who discussed procedural motions with the Assistant Commissioner of Public Works and Parks.

Chairperson Councilor Rose moved for a roll call vote to recommend item #3a be approved, and item #3b through #3e be filed.
