Chairperson Councilor Russell read the item and recognized the Commissioner of Public Works and Parks, who provided an overview of the item, information concerning the lights that are installed at the area, the guidelines and restrictions for the types of lights and light levels that can be installed in the area, and the needs for a study to determine the best practice to improve lighting in the area.
Chairperson Councilor Russell then discussed whether special funding would be required with the Commissioner of Public Works and Parks.
