CHAIRMAN'S ORDERS

1.

Request City Manager request National Grid provide City Council with details of the increases in their annual budget allocated specifically for vegetation management purposes.

2.

Request City Manager request National Grid inform City Council of all circuits within the City of Worcester and rank them by quality and also in comparison to those across the Commonwealth.

3.

Request City Manager request National Grid provide City Council with a listing of the routes in Worcester on which they have conducted vegetation management work.

4.

Request City Manager request a representative of the State’s Department of Conservation Resources meet with representatives of National Grid and the Standing Committee on Public Service & Transportation to discuss actions being taken locally against the Emerald Ash Borer .

5.

Request City Manager report to City Council the progress concerning discussions between his Administration and National Grid for developing mapping overlays to assist with responses to power outages.

6.

Request City Manager request National Grid provide City Council with actual letter and door hangers used in the roll out of the Smart Meter and Smart Grid Pilot Program.

7.

Request City Manager request National Grid provide City Council with data from the World Health Organization, the Federal Communications Commission and the Food and Drug Administration concerning the Richard Tells, Inc. reports regarding Smart Meter Emissions.

8.

Request City Manager request the Commissioner of Public Health report to the Zoning Board of Appeals any known potential adverse health effects from the technology planned to be used in the Wimax Tower being proposed to be sited in Tatnuck.

9.

Request City Manager request the Commissioner of Public Health report to City Council any known potential adverse affects from Smart Meters installed in homes in Worcester as part of the National Grid Pilot Program.

10.

Request City Manager request National Grid provide City Council with the costs associated with the installation and maintenance/operation of a smart meter and the technology support required for its operation.

11.

Request City Manager request National Grid provide City Council with a weekly maintenance update/schedule for the Tory Fort Lane sub-station property.
