Request City Manager consider forming a downtown Crime Watch group for reporting problems and for increasing respect for the City Hall and Common environs.

Request City Manager request the City Solicitor provide the City Council with a report detailing the geographic boundaries of the various Worcester college campus police departments; whether or not any of them have authority granted to them to enforce law outside of their respective campus properties.

Clancy Jr. - Request City Manager, Police Chief and/or the License Commission consider adding a voluntary or mandatory condition to alcohol licensing that would allow for proprietors to scan patrons with a wand in an effort to detect concealed knives and other weapons, all in the interest of improving safety in businesses across the City.
