1a.

Petition of Councilor Candy Mero-Carlson request restoration and relocation of the Sullivan Memorial located in Melrose St. to a location approximately 50 feet north of its current location. # 7x CC February 26, 2019

Chairman's Orders

Request City Manager report to City Council the amount of funds held as a gift trust by the Treasurer for Veteran Memorials as well as the names of the veterans associated with the funds and further, specifically report whether or not if any of these funds are on behalf of the Sullivan Square Veterans Memorial located in Melrose St.

Request City Manager consider utilizing the Summer Youth Program for cleanup in vicinity of veteran memorials. Further, request City Manager reach out to the MassDOT and request cleaning up trash in areas abutting I-290 between Melrose St. and Frontage Rd.

Request City Manager request assistance from the Sheriff’s Department for cleaning areas in vicinity of veteran memorials.

Request City Manager provide City Council with an inventory of erected memorial squares and report whether or not any of those memorial squares are missing.

Petition of Patricia Smith Murphy request to include the name of Pvt. Harold T. Smith, U.S. Army, 175th Inf. 29th Div. on the World War II Memorial entitled "South Worcester Honors Those Who Served" which is located on College St., near Holy Cross College. (Amended to include Arthur J. Smith, a retired Air Force Captain) # 8nn CC August 21, 2018
