FROM THE COMMITTEE ON VETERANS' AND MILITARY AFFAIRS - Request City Manager request the City Solicitor report to City Council how the language for the ordinance relative to Veterans Memorial was chosen as it pertains to who is eligible for a veterans memorial. Further, request the City Manager request the City Solicitor report the process to modify the ordinance to allow additions to pre-existing memorials that include all veterans who served, if that was the intention of the memorial.

FROM THE COMMITTEE ON VETERANS' AND MILITARY AFFAIRS - The City Manager be and is hereby requested to have the Veterans Agent work with the Assistant Commissioner of Parks to look for an existing war memorial for all veterans who served, in the Granite Street area, that would be more appropriate for adding the names of Veterans Harold & Arthur Smith, who served in WWII.

Request City Manager provide a report to City Council as to the status of title to the city owned empty lot at the intersection of Sunderland Rd. and Lake Ave. Information is requested to clarify whether or not it was donated to the City for public safety use and if it was donated for that purpose, does it have any effect on the City’s ability to offer it for sale as surplus.
