Mayor O'Brien read and presented a Proclamation proclaiming September 5th to September 11th, 2011 as Arthritis Awareness Week. The Mayor invited Rebecca Harris and Sean Fitzpatrick to say a few words regarding this event.

Mary Boulay, Worcester resident, appeared and spoke to express her gratitude for the action taken by City Council and the Administration in resolving the heating/air condition issues that occurred at Ascension Heights.

Also, she wanted to convey her thanks to all the South High School students, past and present, volunteers and teachers who participate in the Blackstone Canal Horse and Wagon Tour. She stated that this tour is a gem and it gave her a greater appreciation of the district.
