Request that City Council Accept with Gratitude a Donation to the Talking Book Library at the Worcester Public Library from the Clarence S. Arms Family Fund of the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, Inc.

Recommend that Nine Thousand Two Hundred Dollars and No Cents ($9,200.00) be transferred from Account # 043-91101, Economic Development Regular Salaries, and be appropriated to Account # 043-92000, Economic Development Ordinary Maintenance for the purpose of providing funds for the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) compliance assurance fees relating to four specific properties.

Recommend that Twenty Three Thousand Seven Hundred Two Dollars & Fifty Five Cents be authorized from Account #260-92000, Fire Department Ordinary Maintenance for the payment of a prior year invoice.

Amend Salary Ordinance of August 20, 1996 - Occupational Group P - Foreman and Supervisor - Snow Operations Inspector and Snow Operations Supervisor in the Department of Public Works and Parks.

Order of Mayor Timothy P. Murray - That the ordinance relative to the Police Department License Board as it relates to taxi regulations be rescinded. (Tabled Murray - April 25, 2006)

Order of Councilor Barbara G. Haller and Councilor Gary Rosen - Request the City Manager take all steps to have the WRTA #11 bus rerouted to serve the Island part of Harding Street (south of Kelley Square) to take residents, especially the elderly, to and from the Route 20 Fair Shopping Plaza. Further request that this service be provided several times in the mornings and again in the afternoons, both outbound and inbound. This service was formerly provided by the old #4 Millbury City Line and eliminated on January 28th, 2006 creating a serious hardship and reduction in the quality of life for residents in the Green Island neighborhood. Communication of the City Manager transmitting informational communication relative to the Request for Proposal on two parcels of land currently owned by the Worcester Fire Department. (Tabled - Toomey November 14, 2006)

Motion-Perotto @#9.8A CM - Request City Manager provide City Council with the sale price for the vocational school building D to Gateway Park LLC.

Motion-Perotto @#9.8A CM - Request City Manager provide City Council with copies of the RFP for the Lee St., Dartmouth St. and Adam St. school properties.

Motion-Clancy @#9.8A CM - Request City Manager notify abutters within 500 ft. of the surplus school properties to meetings to discuss the RFP process to give the abutters an opportunity to be involved and make comments on the development of these properties. Further, conduct additional meetings to present all proposals submitted and discuss the disposition/development process to the abutters.

Resolution- Haller @#9.9A CM - That City Council of the City of Worcester hereby goes on record in support of restoring the Year 33 CDBG funding.

Motion-Clancy @#9.11A CM - Request City Manager consider renaming the Franklin St. Fire Station to a more suitable name that would remember the Fallen Heroes and reflect the significance of this site. Further, request to include the Fire Department in the renaming discussion.

Motion-Clancy @#9.12C CM - Request City Manager provide City Council a map showing all the watershed properties under the City's ownership/jurisdiction.

Motion-Perotto @#9.13A CM - Request City Manager provide City Council with a report concerning the approximate $800,000 city money that will be used for the Common Restoration on when these funds can be used and if these funds could possibly be front end loaded to get this project re-started sooner.

Motion-Haller @#9.17A CM - Request City Manager submit an analysis of 2004-2006 crime data for offenses at 72-80 Cambridge St. itemized in City Manager's Item #9.17A of the November 28, 2006 City Council Calendar.

Motion-Rosen @#9.19A CM - Request City Manager work with the owner of the Denholm Building to identify additional handicap parking spaces to meet the needs of the tenancy.
