The Mayor called the meeting to order.

 

Present were:          Mayor Raymond V. Mariano

Councillors Paul P. Clancy, Jr., Dennis L. Irish,   Konstantina B. Lukes, Timothy P. Murray, Janice L. Nadeau and Michael C. Perotto. Stephen T. Patton arrived @ 4:10 p.m. and Stephen G. Abraham arrived @ 4:40 p.m.

 

Also present: City Manager Thomas R. Hoover, Staff Assistant to the City Manager Jill Dagilis, City Solicitor David M. Moore, Parks and Recreation Commissioner Michael O’Brien, City Clerk David J. Rushford, clerk.

 

The Mayor stated the purpose of the meeting: to bring all parties together to walk the site of the proposed Worcester Vocational Technical High School to better understand the issues involving wetlands, demolition, topography and future proposed usage and re-usage of city owned land.

 

After the walking tour led by and narrated by the City Manager there was a question and answer session at the site of the former landfill operation on the westerly side of Skyline Drive.

 

No action was taken during this meeting.
