WPD Vice Squad Sting Targets Massage Parlors

Worcester, MA (December 06, 2012) - On Thursday, November 6, 2012 members of the Worcester Police Vice Squad were conducting a sting operation with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts State Division of Licensure for the purpose of addressing illicit, indecent and illegal activities pertaining to massage parlors within the City of Worcester.

At approximately 11:00 AM an undercover Worcester Police Vice Squad member entered 500 Cambridge Street, a massage parlor called Asian Bodywork. The undercover officer had conversation with an older woman who worked at the counter. The officer explained that he was looking for a massage. The older woman escorted the undercover officer to a massage room. A younger female entered the room and discussed a price for a half hour legitimate massage. The conversation was then able to switch to an illegal sexual encounter for a specific amount of money.

Once the officer was able to establish a dollar amount for sexual activities the officer was then able to signal other nearby undercover Vice Officers and members of the Licensure Division to intervene.

The massage therapist was placed under arrest and charged with Sexual Conduct for a Fee. The therapist was identified as Ke Yueli, 40 years old of 132 Sanford Avenue, Flushing, NY.

Ms. Yueli was arraigned at the Worcester County District Courthouse.
