WPD Investigators Looking to Identify Suspect of Unarmed Robbery

Worcester, MA (November 2, 2017) - On Thursday, November 2, 2017, at approximately 4:25 PM, Worcester Police responded to 665 Park Avenue, the Santander Bank, for a report of an unarmed robbery.

Upon the officers arrival they spoke with a female clerk. The clerk informed the officers that an unknown male approached the window and passed her a note that demanded cash. The clerk gave the male suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then left the bank on foot, last seen heading towards Webster square.

The suspect was described as a male with medium complexion, approximately 5’7” tall, medium build, facial hair, wearing a cap, and a dark sweater.

Several police units responded to the area and searched for the suspect. The search produced negative results.

Members of the WPD Detective Bureau arrived at the scene and interviewed witnesses and reviewed security footage. Members of the WPD Crime Scene Unit arrived and processed evidence.
