Worcester, MA (September 15, 2017) - On Friday September 15th at about 11:25 AM, officers were dispatched to the RMV at 611 Main St for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers found a sixty-year-old victim sitting on the windowsill of the RMV bleeding from his forearm. The victim was not cooperative with officers, and refused to give a subject description. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Detectives arrived and spoke with witnesses, who said they observed a dispute between the victim and a younger male on Main St. The suspect chased the victim across Main St and appeared to be trying to punch him in the back. They realized later that the victim had been stabbed in the back and the hand. The suspect fled the scene on foot. The suspect appeared to be a light-skinned male with long, light-brown hair. The victim suffered minor stab wounds to his hand and back, and the injuries are not life-threatening.
