Worcester, MA (April 28, 2017)- On Friday, April 28, 2017 at approximately 12:10 AM, Worcester police responded to a Dewey Street address for a report of a person that was threatened with a gun. Upon arrival the officers met with a 32-year-old male victim. The victim stated that he was walking on Dewey Street when a dark colored vehicle slowed down as it passed him. The victim stated that there was a male driver and a female passenger. As the vehicle passed him the driver pointed a handgun at him. The vehicle continued onward.
Officers were told that the suspect male is unknown to him. The victim further stated that he did not know why the suspect did that. The victim also stated that he was not involved in any type of altercation leading up to the encounter.
The victim was unhurt during this ordeal.
Police were provided a limited description of the vehicle and the suspect. It is unknown what direction of travel the suspect vehicle took after driving away from the victim. Several Operation officers responded and canvassed the area. The search provided negative results.
