WPD Detectives Investigating Road Rage Incident

Worcester, MA (May 5, 2017) - WPD detectives have been assigned a case involving a road rage incident. On 04/28/2017 a Worcester Police officer was asked to respond to police headquarters to meet with a 29-year-old male victim that was involved in a road rage situation on West Boylston Street.

Upon the officers arrival he met with the victim in the lobby of police headquarters. The officer was told that he and his wife were driving on West Boylston Street, by Bourne Street, when they encountered an older model Honda. The two vehicles came close towards one another when the operator of the Honda made a wide turn. According to the victim, the Honda almost entered their lane of travel. The vehicles did not collide.

One of the occupants within the Honda tossed a water bottle at the victim’s vehicle. One male yelled at the victim while a male sitting in the back seat brandished a handgun.

There were three males inside the Honda, all in-between the ages of 18-25 years.

The vehicle was last seen turning onto a side street near Huntington Avenue.
