(November 20, 2017) - On November 20th at about 6:30 PM, Worcester Police were dispatched to 23 N Ashland St for a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, police observed the eighteen-year-old male victim lying on the ground screaming in pain. Officers observed what appeared to be several stab wounds, and applied direct pressure to the wounds.
The stabbing occurred in a nearby residence and the attacker was known to the victim. After the victim was stabbed, he flagged down a passing motorist who assisted him. The motorist applied direct pressure on the wound and called the police. A thorough examination revealed six stab wounds on the victim’s chest, back and abdomen. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance, and his wounds are not expected to be life-threatening.
