Worcester, MA (November 30, 2017) - On 11/30/2017, Worcester Police Vice Squad officers working with the DEA task force were in possession of a search warrant for 13 Groton Place in Worcester. At about 5:30 PM, residents Daniel Donald, thirty-six-years-old, Robert Young, forty-six-years-old, and Michelle Dulmaine, forty-three-years-old, returned to 13 Groton Place and were stopped by the DEA agents and Worcester Police officers, who detained them and executed the warrant.
Officers secured the residence and searched the interior. A K-9 officer responded and searched the interior of the residence with no success. After an officer noticed an abnormality in the exterior of the building, the K-9 alerted to the possible presence of narcotics in an area. The siding had been manipulated and held down by Velcro. Officers searched the area, and recovered a kilogram of what appeared to be cocaine wrapped in a cloth, and thirty-four individually wrapped bags of what appeared to be heroin that added up to 422 grams. A sandwich bag of 88 grams of crack cocaine, a zip lock bag containing 55 grams of round green pills, and a black handgun were also discovered in the void.
Mr. Donald, Mr. Young and Ms. Dulmaine were placed under arrest. They were all charged with Trafficking in Heroin over 200 Grams, Trafficking in a Class B Substance over 200 Grams, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm without a License, Improper Storage of a Firearm, and Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm in Commission of a Felony. They will be arraigned in court tomorrow.
