Worcester, MA (November 17, 2009) - On November 16, 2009 at approximately 4:30 PM a Worcester Police officer driving a marked police cruiser was involved in a collision with a Ford Expedition at the intersection of Cohasset and Farrar Streets. The police officer, with siren and emergency lights on was responding to an officer in need at a domestic incident call nearby.

The Ford Expedition was carrying two people who suffered minor injuries while the police cruiser was carrying one officer who received minor injuries. All three were taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation.

This incident is currently under investigation, at this time the name of the police officer and the occupants of the Expedition will not be released.
