Worcester, MA (January 11, 2012) - On January 10, 2012, at approximately 10:30 AM, Andres Abreau, 47, of Worcester was arrested on narcotics charges during a drug sting. Through an investigation, the Worcester Police Vice Squad learned that Abreau was delivering ½ grams of heroin to various locations throughout the city. Abreau was placed under arrest after selling heroin to an undercover police officer in a parking lot at 949 Grafton Street. Officers recovered and seized 30 knotted bags of heroin and $672.00 from Abreau’s vehicle.

Abreau was charged with Distribution of Class A Substance, Trafficking in Heroin and Drug Violation within 1,000 Feet of a School. Abreau was arraigned at the Worcester County District Court House on January 11, 2012.
