The female was looking in all directions while making several calls on her cellphone. The undercover officers became suspicious of her behavior.

The female, later identified as Jennifer Pierce, 37-years-old of 23 Vernon Street, Worcester, began to walk towards Perry Avenue along with the unidentified male. The undercover officers proceeded to follow her. Ms. Pierce was seen walking in the middle of the road waving down a motorist. The motorist stopped in the travel lane with Ms. Pierce approaching the driver’s window. The two spoke for approximately 30 seconds and then the vehicle drove off. No drug transaction was observed.

At approximately 12:05 PM, the officers observed a Red Saturn pull to the side of the road on Perry Avenue. Ms. Pierce ran across the street and entered the passenger seat. The Saturn drove off. Other vice officers were positioned nearby were in an unmarked vehicle and began to follow the Saturn. The suspect vehicle drove around in the block for a short while and then dropped Ms. Pierce off at Sterling Street and Euclid Avenue.

Ms. Pierce began to walk away. At this time two undercover officers approached Ms. Pierce. As the officers closed in Ms. Pierce discarded a small piece of tinfoil to the ground. One officer picked up the tinfoil and discovered that it contained crack cocaine. Ms. Pierce was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of Class B Substance.

After confirming that Ms. Pierce was in possession of narcotics the officer that were following the Saturn now had probable cause to signal the vehicle to stop. The vehicle was stopped on Woodford Street. Officers approached the vehicle and identified Charles Davis, 21-years-old of 83 Fayston Street, Boston, as the driver. Officers discovered that Mr. Davis was holding two small baggies that contained crack cocaine. Mr. Davis was placed under arrest and charged with Distribution of Class B Substance and Possession of Class B Substance with the Intent to Distribute.

A search of Mr. Davis discovered $50.00 and two cellphones. The money and drugs were seized as evidence. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
