Worcester, MA (June 13, 2017) – On June 13th at about 4 PM, police were dispatched to an address on Bowdoin St for a possible stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located the fifty-year old male victim, who had been stabbed in the thigh. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
After questioning the witnesses, officers determined that a group of about ten fifteen and sixteen-year-olds came to the Bowdoin St address to fight a juvenile female. Their target was outside when they arrived, and began arguing with them. Several of her family members came outside to help her.
The female victim and her family were attacked by members of the group. While the fifty-year-old victim tried to break up the fight, he was stabbed. The female target and two of her other relatives were punched and struck with a stick. Someone called 911, and the aggressive group fled before police arrived.
