Shots Fired on Arthur Street

Worcester, MA (May 26, 2011) - On Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at approximately 8:06 PM Worcester Police responded to the area of 140 Arthur Street for a report of several shots being fired. Upon the officers' arrival they located three shell casings located in the area of 140 Arthur Street. Witnesses at the scene stated that a person in a vehicle was the target and information of the possible victim’s vehicle was provided. Within a few minutes officers in the area located the vehicle and spoke with the alleged victim.

The alleged victim, a 21 year old male, denies that he was a target and denied that he was shot at. This male provided little information with regard to this incident. Police canvassed the area and it appears that there were no injuries reported.

Witnesses provided little information of the suspects other than that there were two males, walking from the park at Dorchester and Grafton Streets, and that they were walking towards Arthur Street.
