Police Arrest 3 Teenagers Breaking into a Vehicle on Foster Street

Worcester, MA (June 28, 2013) - On Thursday, June 27, 2013, at approximately 6:45 PM officers working the Summer Impact Detail were called to Foster Street for a report of three males breaking into motor vehicles.  The dispatcher told the officers that a security guard from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences witnessed the men breaking into the vehicles.  Police were notified that the men were fleeing on bikes on Norwich Street heading towards Mechanic Street.   Officers were able to quickly locate the three suspects.

Officers obtained surveillance video of the suspects breaking into the vehicle. 

The suspects were in possession of a machete, flashlight, screwdriver and money.

Armando Cruz, 17, of 10 Jefferson Street Apartment 1, Worcester was charged with Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle during the Nighttime with Intent to Commit a Felony, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Larceny Under $250.00.

Miguel Rivera, 19, of 56 Paine Street, Apartment 1, Worcester charged with Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle during the Nighttime with Intent to Commit a Felony and Possession of Burglarious Instrument.

A Juvenile was charged with Breaking and Entering into a Motor Vehicle during the Nighttime with Intent to Commit a Felony.
