Worcester, MA (June 8, 2017) – On Thursday June 8th at about 7:30 PM, police were dispatched to a Plantation St address for a possible stabbing. As they approached the address, officers saw a male covered in blood and a totaled vehicle. The vehicle had multiple flat tires and had crashed into a railing.
A male covered in blood was sitting on the sidewalk outside the vehicle. Officers spoke with the victim, who had two slash marks on the back of his head. The male was transported to the hospital. Officers also located another male, later identified as Geoffrey Plonski, twenty-eight-year-old of Plantation St. Mr. Plonski admitted to being in an altercation with the victim, and slashing the tires of the vehicle that crashed. Police removed a folding knife from Mr. Plonski’s front pocket.
After speaking with other witnesses, the police determined that the victim had been over Mr. Plonski’s house with the permission of another resident. When Mr. Plonski returned home, he was irate at the victim’s presence and attacked him. During the fight, Mr. Plonski stabbed the victim in the neck and slashed the tires of his car. The victim attempted to leave, and ended up crashing his car into the railing near the residence shortly before police arrived.
Mr. Plonski was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon (knife) and Defacement of Property. He will be arraigned tomorrow in Worcester District Court.
