Worcester, MA (June 13, 2013) - On Wednesday, May 29, 2013, Worcester Police responded to an alarm at Moynihan’s Pub, located at 897 Main Street. Upon arrival, the officers discovered the front door unsecured. Police entered the business and observed the lights on inside. It appeared that someone had gone through the office and bar area. Security footage inside the establishment captured a male and female entering the business at approximately 4:38 AM. Once inside, the female and male suspects walk directly to the office area. While in the office the two were observed going through the office drawers.
The owner of the business arrived at the scene and informed the officers that he was missing money from the office. The owner reviewed the security camera footage and identified the female as someone who he was familiar with. The female was identified as Genevieve Curran, 27-years-old of 765 Main Street, Worcester. The male with Ms. Curran was unfamiliar to the bar owner.
On Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at approximately 6:45 PM, detectives assigned to this case located and arrested Ms. Curran. Ms. Curran was transported to police headquarters and interviewed. After the interview, Ms. Curran was charged with Breaking and Entering in the Night Time with the Intent to Commit a Felony and Larceny Over the Value of $250.00.
