Worcester, MA (November 16, 2012) - On November 15, 2012 members of the Worcester Police Vice Squad obtained a search warrant for 103 June Street along with a warrant to search a Toyota Highlander. The apartment and vehicle belong to Elohm Punch, 28 years old of the June Street address. Members of the Vice Squad established surveillance of the apartment at approximately 11:30 AM. At approximately 12:00 PM Mr. Punch was observed operating the Toyota into his driveway. Mr. Punch was then observed entering his apartment. At approximately 2:50 PM Punch was seen exiting his apartment and enter his Toyota. Mr. Punch drove off heading towards June Street. The Vice Officers followed Mr. Punch and stopped him by June and May Streets. The officers transported Punch back to 103 June Street. Officers executed the warrant and gained entry into the apartment.
The search of Punch’s apartment discovered several individual pieces of crack cocaine, razor blades, identifications belonging to Mr. Punch, a digital scale and a Rossi .357 revolver loaded with numerous rounds of ammunition. A search of Mr. Punch produced $780.
Mr. Punch was placed under arrest and charged with the Use of a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, two counts of Possession of a Firearm and Ammunition without an FID Card and Possession of a Class B Substance with the Intent to Distribute.
Mr. Punch will be arraigned on Friday, November 16, 2012 at the Worcester County District Courthouse.
