Worcester, MA (September 22, 2017) - On September 21st, 2017 at about 9:20 PM, Worcester Police were dispatched to the area of Main at Austin St for a report of a fight. A second call came in, reporting that a male was screaming, “I’ve just been stabbed!” Officers arrived and found the forty-five-year-old victim in front of 507 Main St lying on his back, covered in blood. Officers saw multiple stab wounds to his torso and both arms. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he is currently in serious condition.
Witnesses on scene reported that several younger males were chasing the victim before he was stabbed. The Detective Bureau and the Crime Scene Unit responded, and the matter is currently under investigation.
