Worcester, MA (June 26, 2013) - On June 25, 2013 at approximately 2:00 PM Worcester Police were called to an emergency room at a local hospital for a report of a male victim suffering from a stab wound. The 34-year-old male victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police began to investigate and learned that the incident occurred at the corner of Granite and Winthrop Streets. During the investigation, police identified the suspect as 33-year-old Steven Glenboski. Mr. Glenboski and the victim were known to each other. The victim was in his car and Mr. Glenboski was standing outside the vehicle when the incident occurred. An argument erupted that led to the altercation between the two men. Mr. Glenboski stabbed the victim through the open car window. The victim drove off hitting a parked car. He continued to drive to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. Meanwhile, Mr. Glenboski fled the scene.
Police located Mr. Glenboski and he was placed under arrest. Detectives recovered the knife and it was processed for evidence.
Steven Glenboski, 33, of 42 Dillon Street, Worcester was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
Mr. Glenboski will be arraigned today at the Worcester County District Courthouse.
