Worcester, MA (January 18, 2012) - On Wednesday, January 18, 2012 Worcester Police Detectives were assigned to investigate a past domestic incident involving Mr. Michael Leuci, 21 years old of 1 Park View Drive. The investigation revealed that on 12/31/2011 a female victim was grabbed by the neck and assaulted by Mr. Leuci after a brief verbal argument escalated into a physical assault. The victim further informed the detectives that on Friday, January 13, 2012 she was in another verbal altercation with Leuci when he suddenly produced a handgun, chambered a round and placed the gun to the head of the victim, placing her in imminent fear of death or serious bodily injury.

Detectives finished interviewing the witness and applied for a search warrant for Leuci’s residence. At 4:50 PM members of the SWAT team made entry to 1 Park View Drive. Inside the dwelling were Lawrence Ritter, 54 years old of the same address, Adam Kubilis, 20 years old of 174 Providence Road, Grafton, a 16 year old male who resides in the home, a 16 year old female who resides in Worcester and the target of the search warrant, Michael Leuci.

A search produced 380 rounds of ammunition and two capsules containing Adderall, a class B substance along with other drug paraphernalia. The 16 year old male had $160.00 in his possession which was seized by the officers.

All 5 occupants were charged with the following:

1. Michael Leuci: Assault and Battery, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute and a Drug Violation within 1,000 Feet of a School.
2. Lawrence Ritter: Possession of Class B Substance with the Intent to Distribute and a Drug Violation within 1,000 Feet of a School.
3. Adam Kubilis: Possession of Class B Substance with the Intent to Distribute and a Drug Violation within a 1,000 Feet of a School.
4. A 16 year old female charged with Possession of Class B Substance with intent to Distribute and a Drug Violation within 1,000 Feet of a School.
5. A 16 year old male charged with Possession of Class B Substance with the Intent to Distribute and a Drug Violation within 1,000 Feet of a School.

The three adults will be arraigned on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Worcester County District Courthouse; the two juveniles will be arraigned in juvenile court on a date yet to be determined. 

There will be no new additional information released at this time.
