3 Armed Robberies

Worcester, MA (February 25, 2010) - On February 24, 2010 at approximately 2:50 AM Worcester Police responded to the Honey Farms Market located at 872 West Boylston Street for a reported armed robbery. Upon the officers arrival they met with the clerk who stated that Spanish male, 25-30 years old, 5'5", med build entered the store and demanded cash. The clerk stated that the male threatened to stab him if he did not comply. The suspect took the cash and fled on foot towards Burncoat Street.

On February 24, 2010 at approximately 6:43 PM Worcester Police responded to the Honey Dew Donuts located at 947 West Boylston Street for a reported armed robbery. The officers spoke with the clerk who stated that a white male, 5'8", late twenties, wearing a purple jacket and a bandana covering his face entered the store, pulled out a hand gun and demanded cash. The suspect took the cash and fled on foot.

On February 24, 2010 at approximately 10:07 PM Worcester Police responded to the Honey Farms market located at 82 Thomas Street for a reported armed robbery. The officers met with the clerk and was informed that a white male, late twenties, 6'0" tall, medium build, dark hair, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt entered the store and demanded cash. The suspect stated that he had a gun; he then jumped over the counter and took the cash and cigarettes. The suspect fled on foot.

The Worcester Police Detective Bureau responded to all three robberies and are reviewing the video tapes as well as interviewing the clerks, none of the clerks were harmed. At this time it is unknown if these robberies are related. These investigations are ongoing.
