Worcester, MA (November 7, 2017) - On Monday, November 6, 2017, members of the WPD Vice squad obtained a search warrant for 6 Elizabeth Street, apartment 2-R. The warrant was the result of a drug investigation that involved the occupants of the apartment.

At approximately 7:30 PM, vice officers executed the warrant. Officers knocked loud and clear on the front door and announced their presence. No one from within the apartment opened the door. After a reasonable amount of time passed officer decided to use a ram to force open the door. Officers hit the door but it did not open. Officers knew right away that the door was being heavily fortified from within the apartment. It took many forceful blows with the ram against the door before it eventually gave way.

Once access was gained to the inside of the apartment, a male immediately began to block the officers from entering. The male, later identified as David Watson, 38-years-old, of the Elizabeth Street apartment was forcibly removed from the front door allowing officers to then enter.

There were several people inside the apartment. Vice officers secured all persons within and explained to them about the search warrant and their Maranda rights.

The search produced a knotted bag of Fentanyl, cutting agents, Lorazepam pills (class C substance), Gabapentin and trazadone (class E substance) a digital scale, plastic baggies, $200 in cash, 2 cellphones, and four knotted baggies of Fentanyl.

A search of Mr. Carraquillo produced a bag of cocaine in his sock.

During the search, a male later identified as Steven DiRoberto, 59-years-old of 26 Frank Street, came to the apartment but noticed the officers so he continued walking to the third floor apartment. Mr. DiRoberto went to the third floor apartment and attempted to enter when the occupant screamed out. Officers went to that apartment and the occupant stated that they did not know this man and he was trying to evade police by trying to enter the apartment. There are no trespassing signs posted on the property. Mr. DiRoberto was placed under arrest and charged with trespassing.

Vice officers seized the cash and drugs as evidence. All four will be arraigned today at the Worcester County district Courthouse.
