Worcester, MA (September 24, 2011) - The Suspect that was shot by Worcester Police Friday evening has been identified as Isack Changa, 20 years old of 701 Main Street. Mr. Changa was booked at a local hospital where he continues to recover after being shot by police in the abdomen. Mr. Changa was originally listed in critical condition last evening but has since been upgraded to serious condition. To date, Mr. Changa has been charged with the following:

• 2 counts of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon
• Malicious Destruction of Property over the Value of $250.00
• Breaking and Entering in the Nighttime with the Intent to Commit a Felony
• Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle
• Illegally Attaching License Plates
• 2 counts of Leaving the Scene of Personal Injury
• Leaving the Scene of Property Damage
• Operating a Motor Vehicle so as to Endanger

This investigation is ongoing as investigators continue to interview witnesses.
