Man Stabbed Outside Emergency Room During Fight

Worcester, MA (April 21, 2013) - On Saturday, April 20, 2013 at approximately 2:50 AM, Worcester Police responded to the emergency room of St. Vincent’s Hospital for a report of a stabbing victim arriving in the emergency room. Arriving police met with a 22 year old male victim. According to the victim, he was in a fight at Nuf Ced, a bar located at 377 Park Avenue. During the fight he was injured. The victim was being transported by a friend to the hospital. When the victim arrived at the hospital, another vehicle drove up next to the friend’s vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle encountered the victim and another fight erupted. During the fight a knife was introduced by the unknown suspect. The victim received defensive wounds to his hand. The injuries were not serious.

Police have reviewed security footage of the incident. Investigators are looking for the suspect vehicle which is described as a dark colored SUV. The vicitm’s friend had dropped off the victim and fled the scene prior to police arrival.
