Worcester, MA (March 27, 2017) - On Sunday, March 26, 2017, at approximately 4:34 AM, Worcester Police responded to a Shotspotter activation in the area of 172 Pleasant Street. Shotspotter detection also reported in nearby areas of Hawley and Upon Streets. All locations at this time appear to be from the initial Pleasant Street activation.
Officers canvassed the area for witnesses and evidence. Ballistic evidence was located in the area of 172 Pleasant Street. Members of the WPD Crime Scene Unit arrived and collected the evidence.
Upon further inspection it appears that one window at Pete’s Service Center was struck by a projectile.
There were no injuries reported.
