    THE MICROBIOME: MEMORY AND HEALTHY LIVING

    Tues, May 28 • 10:30–11:30 am

    Dr. John Haran and his team from UMass Medical School will talk about the intestinal microbiome and how it affects health and memory as you age. They are enrolling subjects into a study looking at the microbiome and how it relates to memory function and overall health.

    This is part of a larger study going on across Massachusetts. Refreshments will be served.

    The Worcester Senior Center is a bright, welcoming place for all seniors, their families and caregivers, elder service providers and the community at large. Approximately one mile from City Hall, the Center has ample on-site, free parking. There is a strong emphasis on health and wellness programming, in addition to fitness, intergenerational events, support groups, arts & crafts classes, multi-cultural programs, computer classes and various other educational and recreational activities.
