MCPHS Senior Fitness Test

    Tues. March 13, 9 -11am; snow date: Tues. March 20 9-11 am

    MCPHS students are offering a fitness test for the older adult which includes: upper & lower body strength, aerobic endurance, upper and lower body flexibility and balance. The 6 tests that will be administered and the results will be interpreted for you to see where you are within your age group for overall fitness. The tests are easy and can be modified for any person. The results should help you focus on prevention and overall healthy physical activity. Fitness Instructor Joe Fish will be here to assist seniors. Sign up by calling 508-799-1232

    The Worcester Senior Center is a bright, welcoming place for all seniors, their families and caregivers, elder service providers and the community at large. Approximately one mile from City Hall, the Center has ample on-site, free parking. There is a strong emphasis on health and wellness programming, in addition to fitness, intergenerational events, support groups, arts & crafts classes, multi-cultural programs, computer classes and various other educational and recreational activities.
