On September 26, 2019, Worcester Police officers were on patrol in the area of North Ashland Street. At about 9:10 PM, an officer observed a brown Honda traveling on Dix St. The officer ran the vehicle through his CJIS terminal, and determined that it had been stolen from Dewey Street. The operator, Jose Miranda, forty-six-years-old of Vernon Street, had a suspended driver’s license and could not explain how he came to possess the vehicle. He was placed under arrest and charged with Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Use of a Motor Vehicle without Authority, and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License. He will be arraigned in Worcester District Court.
