Over the last several months, members of the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office, Worcester Police Vice Squad, Worcester DEA –TDS, and Massachusetts State Police have been conducting an investigation into a drug trafficking organization that was distributing large quantities of Oxycodone pills throughout the City of Worcester and surrounding towns.
As a result of this investigation, officers developed probable cause to arrest several members of the organization as well as obtained search warrants for various addresses associated with the organization.
On Friday, May 11, 2018, officers executed the search warrants and arrested individuals involved in the investigation. As part of the investigation, officers had developed probable cause to arrest Luke Deptula, 33 years old and Daniel Deptula, 35 years old both of 112 Santoro Road, Worcester for Distribution of a Class B Substance (Oxycodone pills). At approximately 7:00 PM with the assistance of the Westborough and Northborough Police Departments, officers located Daniel and Luke Deptula at the Motel 6 in Northborough, MA and placed them under arrest. A subsequent search of Luke Deptula revealed approximately 400 Oxycodone pills.
Luke Deptula is being charged with 3 counts of Distribution of a Class B Substance and Trafficking Class B 36-99.
Daniel Deptula is being charged with Distribution of a Class B Substance.
At approximately 8:50 PM officers executed a search warrant at 253 St. Nicholas Ave, Worcester Ma. Inside officers locate the target of the warrant Brian Murphy DOB 08/05/60. Officers located 15 oxycodone tablets as a result of the search. Murphy was charged with Possession of a Class B Substance w/ Intent to Distribute.
At approximately 1:05 AM on May 12th, members of the Worcester Police Vice Squad and DEA executed a search warrant at 47 Ellsworth Street apartment #1. As a result of the search, officers located approximately 75 grams of cocaine, 51 grams of heroin, and approximately 1,500 Oxycodone pills weighing a total of 179 grams. As a result of this search warrant, officers located and arrested Noel Perez-Dejesus, 37 years old, and Elisa Aguilar, 29 years old, both of 47 Ellsworth Street. Both individuals were charged with Trafficking in Cocaine, Trafficking in Class A Heroin, and Trafficking in class B Oxycodone Pills. Post arrest, it was learned that Noel Perez-Dejesus has an alias of Noel Perez and Alexander Ramirez. He currently has an outstanding warrant for drug violations under the name Alexander Ramirez.
In total, officers seized over 2,000 Oxycodone tablets, $60,000 currency, 70 grams of Cocaine, and 50 grams of Heroin during this investigation.
