Worcester Consumer Rights Program

The Worcester Consumer Rights Program (WCRP) is a local consumer program (LCP) that offers mediation service in cooperation with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office (AGO). The service is available to consumers in Worcester and surrounding towns (*see below). The purpose of the Worcester Consumer Aid Program is to provide amicable mediation to consumers who are involved in a dispute or have a complaint against a business that is licensed to operate in Massachusetts. The program is voluntary and does not carry any cost to either the consumer or business.

Types of common complaints that we handle:

  • Car Sales & Financing
  • Defective Products
  • Home Improvement Contracts
  • Consumer Fraud
  • Debt Collection
  • Telemarketing Fraud
  • Utility Bills
  • Identity Theft

Filing a Complaint

You may file a complaint directly (in person or by mail) with our office or with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office:

*Service Area - Worcester and surrounding towns: Auburn, Berlin, Boylston, Clinton, Grafton, Holden, Leicester, Millbury, Northborough, Paxton, Shrewsbury, Southborough, West Boylston and Westborough.
