The City of Worcester Cultural Development Office seeks an intern who will assist in City of Worcester and Worcester Cultural Coalition events and program coordination.
This internship is for college credit and hours will depend on institutional requirements.
A qualified intern should illustrate an interest in cultural, economic, and community development, public relations and special events coordination. Strong time management, organizational and customer service skills are required. Knowledge of Office Suite, Photoshop, Constant Contact and PowerPoint are useful. Candidates must have an enthusiasm for public sector work, possess a good sense of humor and be a self-starter and work a flexible per-diem schedule with independence and reliability. Other duties may arise depending on individual interests and capacities. Some weekends and night time hours may be required. Some physical work is required and must be able to lift 30-50 pounds of weight.
