The Division of Youth Opportunities seeks applicants for the position of Site Coordinator for the Recreation Worcester School Sites from November 2019 through May 2020. Site Coordinators are responsible for communicating programming to participant families and communicating policy and procedures to staff, volunteers and youth. Site Coordinators will manage curriculum, on-site partnerships, and data and evaluation. Site Coordinators will also be responsible for coaching and mentoring programming leads.
Successful applicants will have strong verbal and written communication skills; a willingness to communicate and work effectively with diverse populations, organizations, and interests; the ability to work with students with special educational or emotional needs; the ability to multi-task; the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; the ability to provide and receive constructive feedback; the ability to build relationships and networking skills with students, colleagues, and community members; strong desire and ability to supervise staff and youth; a strong desire and ability to support and develop Programming Leads; effective organizational skills; the ability to work with minimal supervision; and the ability to work collaboratively with community partners and families.
SALARY RANGE: $16.00 hourly, part-time, temporary, non-benefitted
