The City of Worcester’s Technical Services department is seeking to fill the position of Business Application Developer. This position is responsible for the design, development, enhancement and support of Windows applications, web based-applications and SQL Server databases. Duties and responsibilities include developing new programs to meet end-user requests to automate/improve business functions; troubleshooting, maintaining and enhancing existing systems; managing and maintaining new development requests; & seeing projects through the entire project life cycle (business requirements gathering, database design and development, UI design and development, technical and user documentation, testing, user training, implementation, ongoing support).
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
SALARY RANGE: $66,663.34 - $74,114.44 annually, full-time, with an excellent benefits package.
