The Assessing Division establishes market based assessments for the approximately 48,000 real estate parcels and 5,000 personal property estates in the City of Worcester. Real estate valuations are available by using our Property Values Search.
The FY 2015 residential tax rate is $20.07 per $1000 assessed valuation and the commercial, industrial and personal property tax rate is $31.73 per $1000 assessed valuation. The City Council adopted these FY 2015 tax rates on December 9, 2014. The City's tax rates were then certified by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue for FY 2015 on December 12, 2014.
The FY 2014 residential tax rate was $19.54 per $1000 assessed valuation and the commercial, industrial and personal property tax rate was $30.83 per $1000 assessed valuation. The City Council adopted these FY 2014 tax rates on December 17, 2013. The City's tax rates were then certified by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue for FY 2014 on December 17, 2013.

Triennial Revaluation Information
