Knowing the hazards you may be affected by within the City of Worcester can be an important part in remaining safe in the event of an emergency.

The most important key to successfully managing any type of disaster, natural or man-made, is to be properly prepared. By creating an Emergency Supply Kit, an Emergency Plan, and a Family Communications Plan (64KB) you can better prepare yourself for an emergency. Based on the recommendation of various Federal and State Emergency Management Agencies, emergencies can be planned for using an All-Hazards approach. Through this approach you need only one well prepared kit for any emergency.
