Dumpster Permit

City of Worcester Dumpster Permits may be renewed through our online payment partner UniBank Government Services by using checking account information (EFT), MasterCard or Discover cards.

The Worcester Fire Department issues permits for the placement and use of metal rubbish containers (dumpsters). If you currently have a permit for one or more dumpsters, you must renew this permit annually upon receiving an invoice from the Worcester Fire Department. The new permit will be mailed to your billing address within 30 days. An inspection of the dumpster and its location may be required at the discretion of the Chief.

If you have any questions regarding this process, please call the Fire Prevention Office at (508) 799-1822, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM or email prevention@worcesterma.gov.

Renewal Fee:
$25.00 for one dumpster and
$10.00 for each additional dumpster.

NOTE: License Renewal may also be completed at the Fire Prevention Office, 25 Meade Street, or via US Mail. The renewal invoice must accompany a check or money order made out to "City of Worcester."
