The Division of Housing/Health Inspections is mandated to inspect each tanning facility every six (6) months.

How do I obtain a Tanning License Application from the City of Worcester?

Applications for licensure shall be made on forms prescribed by and available from the Department of Inspectional Services.

Does the tanning facility have to supply eyewear for its customers?
A:
Yes. Protective eyewear shall be made available to the customers before each tanning session with instructions for its mandatory use.

How do I know if the City of Worcester has permitted a specific tanning facility?
A:
The tanning permits must be posted in a conspicuous place in the tanning facility. On the tanning permit there will be a date of June 30th which is the expiration date.
