The Elder Affairs Division enhances the well being of the senior population by optimizing services on behalf of mature adults and their families.
Our office and the Worcester Senior Center are open to the public Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Telephone calls are answered through 5:00 PM.
No. While most programs are targeted towards older adults, younger people often receive services for caregivers or participate in inter-generational programs.
No. There is no membership required, although registration is encouraged. Membership in the Friends of Worcester's Senior Center, Inc. will provide you with certain benefits such as receiving the monthly newsletter by mail.
The Senior Center is located in a beautiful, renovated building on Vernon Hill with plenty of free parking at 128 Providence Street. WRTA bus #1 and #11 stop at the Senior Center; WRTA also provides curb-to-curb ADA transportation. Please call (508) 799-1232 for help with this application.
