Keep Worcester Clean, or (KWC) is the goal of the Worcester Public Works Department's citywide cleaning effort. This involves dedicating people for the sole purpose of cleaning litter and other debris from City streets and sidewalks. State of the art sweeping and litter collection equipment was purchased to make our work more efficient. New signage was added around key street intersections, trying to make people more aware of the problem litter creates in our City. We've stepped up our efforts on Public Education and enforcing ordinances on illegal dumping. To help us, if you see papers or material left on the ground, please pick them up and dispose of them properly.
Also, if you notice any areas throughout the City where litter or graffiti exists please call our Customer Service Center at (508) 929-1300 or use the Litter Complaint Form to notify us.
Your help will go a long way in making Worcester a better place to live and work.
