Performance - Farmers Union Players

Farmers Union PlayersA union of players from New England. An Old Time String band, foot stomping, banjo rippin, old time musicians. Current line up includes Helen & Zack as a duet partnering with other New England Musicians. Helen Beaumont (singer) grew up on a farm in Ohio, brings the roots of her upbringing and singing in the barn through her powerful voice and foot stomping. Zack Slik (banjo/mandolin) seen on the streets and pubs in Worcester, never without his banjo, sets the place a blaze with his pickin' skills. To quote Zack, "You never know when you're going to have to have a hoedown!"

Other band members seen performing as the Union include Laurie Slik (fiddle, kazoo, vocals), Bob MacDonald (bass), Cheryl (vocals), Mark Twombly Lee (guitar, vocals), Luke Bass (bass), Rich Leufstedt (bass, ukulele, vocals), Jeff Galindo (trombone), Jon Short (guitar, vocals), Myra McCloud (fiddle) and Donald Prange (banjo, mandolin).
