Commercial Air Service - Direct Air

Direct Air & ToursWorcester Regional Airport is now proud to offer commercial airline service through Direct Air, direct from ORH to four destinations on the East Coast! Fly non-stop to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Punta Gorda (Fort Myers area), Florida; Sanford (Orlando area), Florida; or West Palm Beach, Florida!

During the course of the summer of 2008, with the leadership from Massport and the State Administration, the City was successful in the recruitment of Direct Air, an air charter service out of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Direct Air initiated service on November 22, 2008 from Worcester to Punta Gorda and Sanford, Florida three times per week. In March 2009, Direct Air began additional flights to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina twice per week. And in 2010 West Palm Beach, Florida service was added.

Amazing low fares and the convenience of departing from Worcester Regional Airport will certaily put a smile on the face of any traveler, from the veteran businessman to the casual vacationer. Don't just take our word for it. The following is an excerpt from a recent traveler as seen in the Telegram & Gazette:

"Recently we had the pleasure of flying out of Worcester Regional Aiport on a Direct Air flight to Sanford/Orlando Florida. It could not have been a better experience. From check-in to disembarking in Florida, we were treated with the utmost professional courtesy. ...the convenience of not having to travel to Boston or Providence, and reasonable fares, made the trip even more enjoyable."
- Harry and Gail K., North Oxford

Here is an excerpt from another letter we received from a Myrtle Beach traveler:

"Recently my wife and I returned from Myrtle Beach on board Worcester's newest airline, Direct Air. We found Direct Air's service to be comfortable, friendly and a convenient alternative to flying out of Boston or Providence."
- Tim M., Worcester

And another from a frequent flyer:

"I just flew roundtrip from Worcester to Punta Gorda. The flights were smooth and we actually landed earlier than scheduled. The price of the ticket was very reasonable. Worcester Airport is so convenient and the lines to check in and go through security are so much shorter and quicker than Providence and Boston. The Direct Air personnel are friendly and helpful. I sincerely hope that the Worcester Airport succeeds. If it does, I will continue to fly from Worcester. I will be making many flights back and forth from Worcester to Florida. Good Luck."
- Frequent Flyer

Tickets can be purchased online by going to Direct Air's website, or by calling them directly at 1-877-432-3473.
